I had my SMILE procedure with Dr. Eubanks in October 2025, and honestly, its been a game changer. Im in my late 30s and spend long days on the computer for work, then either hit the gym or play competitive online games in my downtime. Because of my lifestyle and goals, Dr. Eubanks recommended SMILE over LASIK, and Im glad he did as I was a suitable candidate.Id always been a bit skeptical about corrective surgery, but the difference in my day-to-day life has been incredible. Its the small things you dont realise youre tolerating: glasses sliding down your nose when youre sweating at the gym, discomfort under your gaming headset, that constant awareness that something is on your face. Having none of that anymore feels unbelievably freeing.If youre on the fence about getting your eyes done, Id say go for it! Its genuinely an investment in your quality of life. And if you have the chance, I highly recommend doing it with Dr. Eubanks at Herzig Eye Institute. I visited both Herzig and Bochner for my pre assessment, and Dr. Eubanks was the deciding factor for me.Hope this helps anyone considering SMILE! 🙂
